Rosalie M. (Speruzzio) Senetsen, 73, of Bristol, Widow of Michael Senetcen, passed away on June 11, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born on June 26, 1947 in New Britain, CT, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Carmela (Albanese) Speruzzio. Rosalie worked as a cashier at Stop and Shop, here in Bristol, for over 25 years. She was very dedicated to Stop and Shop and to her customers, making many friends “at the register”. In her free time, Rosalie enjoyed traveling to Europe and islands in the Caribbean such as Rome, Italy and her favorite Caribbean Island, Aruba. She enjoyed taking care of her family and friends and always tried to put others first. Those that knew Rosalie best would say she had a strong, straight-forward personality. Rosalie was a longtime member of St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church and was very involved with the church, most notably teaching CCD to the children and young adults of the parish. Rosalie is survived by her sister Pamela Young of Bristol, CT; her niece Jessica Morelli and her fiancé Luther Holley of Bristol, CT; her cousin Beverley and several additional cousins and her very dear friends Paul Toussaint and Faye Gray. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, June 17, at 11am at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, 235 Maltby St, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Gregory’s Church by visiting www.stgregorybristol.org and selecting Online Giving.
