I just saw this sad news and would have come to the service had I known. I worked with Ronnie at the Park Department in the early 80's for 4 summers as a temp employee and he was great company in that truck. Sometimes just a mere look or glance my way would get the two of us laughing. Ronnie had a good heart and to this day when I pass a house on Mines Road I think to myself that 's where Ronnie told me he lived in the early years. Occasionally we would meet up at the place that used to be across the street on Farmington Avenue from the old Grinders Keepers for a few beers and end the night at the grinder shop. He would always tell me to "be careful driving home Monk" and see you tomorrow at work.
I also knew Denise from her working with my mom at Aetna and my condolences to you Denise and Dean if you see this.
After 36+ years I can still hear Ronnie laughing and see his infectious smile. He will be missed.

Worked with Ronnie in 1970 at Hildreth Press in Bristol.
We shared a lot of laughs, and good times together.
I always thought of him as a good friend.
I did not know he passed, until today October 17.
He will be missed.
May God bless him.

My sympathy to Ronnie's family. Ronnie was one of those people who sparkled in life. If you met him, you would never forget him. I knew Ronnie in my high school days in the 70's. I haven't seen him since then, but I'll never forget how he stepped into my life and is part of my story like everyone else he's ever met. Rest in peace.
