Also, to remember him, sister-in-law Roberta Allain who baptized Bob into the Catholic faith and sisters-in-law Beverly (Boero) Murphy and Erline (Christie) Murphy. Throughout his life, Bob exhibited a passion for good hard work, integrity, and his talent for “reading” other people accounted for his success in business (Bob Murphy Mason LLC) and life. He was an artist that prided himself in perfection working with brick and stone as well as the paintings and prints his family and friends have so admired. Bob also was very modest refuting any praise, but very proud of his family and their many achievements. He was an avid NASCAR enthusiast that grew from many years in his youth spent with his head inside the hood of a car. He loved jazz, country music, children, dogs, and life. Note from daughter Erin to her father Bob…” Thank you are two words that literally have no value for a man who’s done it all. Words can never justify all that you’ve done for me. All I can say is that Dad, My Hero you will always be.” Calling Hours will be Thursday, May 7, 2020 from 5-7pm at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, CT.
