Ettore Pagnoni, Jr., 88, of Bristol, husband of Elizabeth (Gnall) Pagnoni, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at Bristol Hospital. Born on Aug. 6, 1930 in Jessup, PA, he was a son of the late Ettore Sr. and Maria (DeAngela) Pagnoni. Ettore was a US Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. After Korea, had worked as a computer operator for the Waterbury Companies for more than forty years before his retirement. Ettore had many interests but bowling and luxury cars where the two interests that were at the top of his list. Besides his wife Elizabeth, Ettore is survived by his sister Lena Kowalchick of Wolcott, CT; a nephew Philip Pagnoni and his wife Darcy of Wolcott, CT; a great nephew Jason Pagnoni, and a great niece Jessica Pagnoni. Ettore was predeceased by his three brothers Leo, Carlo, and Daniel Pagnoni. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, Jan. 4, at 10am at St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9am to be included in the procession. Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 6-8pm at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Burial will be on Monday in Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton, PA.
